Where to get the Common Language Runtime Download and How to Use It?

The common language runtime can be downloaded from the Microsoft website. The file to download is MicrosoftCLR.exe. The file is around 320 KB in size. So it is easy to download even in slow internet connections. The MicrosoftCLR is supported by Windows 2000 that has Service Pack 4, Windows XP, and Windows 2003.

Make sure that you have all the critical updates in place in your operating system and you also have installed the latest service pack for your operating system.
